When I met and spent time with Franco Pascali I immediately wanted to point my camera at him to capture the indescribable energy and magic I felt. I had never seen a cinematic lens directed at a contemporary magician or cardist. It felt entirely appropriate with Franco’s world. I wanted to bottle up that mystery, wonder and the promise of youth. This was our first film together.
